Theo Dimitri Kepreotes was born in Kythera (17/1/1926 -27/6/2006). In 1937 he left Kythera to join his uncle Emanuel Kepreotes. Theo worked at the Acropolis Café, Gunnedah which was owned by his uncle in partnership with Peter Nick Veneris.
Theo left Gunnedah aged 21. He considered the town as “home”. Up until his death he subscribed to the Namoi Valley newspaper which he read with keen interest. He was very proud of his association with Acropolis Café in Gunnedah.
